Beefy Boi

MERTHEWIZ, a Singaporean toy designer, launched his debut character collection under the moniker BEEFY BOI. BB is a gym-loving cow. The character juxtaposes a masculine body with pronounced udders. MERTHEWIZ purposely blended these biased features to challenge how society views and defines genders. The toy is a handsome figurine that stands on underpinning notions of freedom, fun, and fantasy. To bring BB’s realm to life, I created a set of illustrations that are beefed up with whimsical wham for the collector’s glee.
